Newsletter August 2025
###USER_name###,
We are deeply impressed and moved by the fascinating and compelling nominations for the 2025 International Bremen Peace Award. A total of 45 committed individuals and organisations from all over the world were nominated. This diversity of nominations shows once again how many courageous people and initiatives are working every day for understanding and reconciliation, for the protection of our environment and for the preservation of human rights – often under the most difficult conditions.
They deserve our utmost respect – and we would like to express our sincere thanks to those who nominated them! Thank you for bringing these impressive personalities and projects to our attention.
In November, we will publish the shortlist for the Award of the Donors: anyone who has donated at least 30 euros to the schwelle Foundation (or does so by the end of the year) can vote for the winner in the category "Encouraging Initiatives". Award of the Donors
