Solving conflicts without violence can and must be learned.
Conflicts are part of life. In addition to our social environment, the education we receive and lifelong learning are decisive for a non-violent life. It starts with language: non-violent communication can be learned. There is also the ability to understand conflicts and to work towards non-violent change and peace. It is important to keep this experience in mind in everyday life and in learning processes, and to learn methods of mutual understanding and negotiating solutions, for example in training courses.
Partner organisations of the schwelle Foundation, such as gewaltfrei handeln in Germany or INTeRo in Croatia, offer training on this.
